English:

"Now the leaves are falling fast" is a lyric poem composed by W.H. Auden. In this poem, the poet expresses the frustration inherent in human life. He says that man does not fulfill his all desires but he has to die one day. Here, the poet gives the example of falling leaves from the tree. He says that leaves begin to fall fast in the autumn season and the flower will not last long. It means that their life ended. It shows that life-cycle is like the prams that go rolling on.

"अब पत्तियाँ तेज़ी से गिर रही हैं" एक गीतिकाव्य (lyric poem) है जिसे डब्ल्यू.एच. ऑडेन द्वारा रचा गया है। इस कविता में, कवि मानव जीवन में निहित निराशा को व्यक्त करते हैं। वे कहते हैं कि मनुष्य अपनी सभी इच्छाओं को पूरा नहीं कर पाता है, लेकिन एक दिन उसे मरना ही पड़ता है। यहाँ, कवि ने पेड़ से गिरते पत्तों का उदाहरण दिया है। वे कहते हैं कि पतझड़ के मौसम में पत्तियाँ तेज़ी से गिरने लगती हैं और फूल ज़्यादा देर तक नहीं टिकते। इसका अर्थ है कि उनका जीवन समाप्त हो गया। यह दर्शाता है कि जीवन-चक्र उन प्राम्स (बच्चों की हाथ-गाड़ी) की तरह है जो लुढ़कते हुए आगे बढ़ते रहते हैं।

Paragraph 2

English:

The poet finds the same thing in human life. One day the messenger of death comes and takes us away from the world. Everybody has to die. After death, all go to the grave. White water-fall, mountains etc. look like the travellers in the end of life. So the poet says that in the last stage of life, the old man feels loneliness. He becomes inactive and dies.

Hindi:

कवि मानव जीवन में भी यही बात देखते हैं। एक दिन मौत का संदेशवाहक (दूत) आता है और हमें इस दुनिया से ले जाता है। हर किसी को मरना है। मृत्यु के बाद सभी कब्र में चले जाते हैं। सफेद जलप्रपात (झरने), पहाड़ आदि जीवन के अंत में यात्रियों की भाँति लगते हैं। इसलिए कवि कहते हैं कि जीवन के अंतिम चरण में, वृद्ध व्यक्ति अकेलापन महसूस करता है। वह निष्क्रिय हो जाता है और मर जाता है।
